Freelancing, good or bad?
Hey, guys welcome to another blog of the Teen Whisperer show today we are going to see whether freelancing is good or bad. Now, let me put a big disclaimer here
I am not a really big like 6 figure freelancer I am just a guy who is starting out and been doing this for just six months. But before you decide “This guy is not worthy enough to listen to” let me tell you the one really important thing.
If you are a beginner am sure you will have a ton of questions that can only be answered by other beginners and not the six-figure guy. If you have those sort of questions and doubts leave it in the comment section or else give a thumbs up to the blog to make the fellow blogger grow.
Now let’s get into the blog.
Freelancing is, in my opinion, is really great compared to being on an actual job. Being on the actual job, of course, has its own perks.
I will give you the top 3 reasons why?
Different experiences:
How many of you getting frustrated with getting the mundane schedule and thinking that you need to quit your job and get another one. Yet having some really good pay and the benefits.
This will happen to you especially when you are in the creative field. This can be either in video production or audio production. Doing the editing for the same person for a longer period of time would obviously lead to boredom.
But of course, even in freelancing, we might be having a long term client. Even I have made a video about it. You can check them out if you like.
Too many opportunities:
When you are working for a company it will be a pain (at times) because you might be under contract so that may be a good thing for you. Because you would obviously get the pay continuously but the company won’t be able to let you go because of the contract.
Sometimes it will be a win-win situation and sometimes it will be a win-lose situation. Let’s take the current situation as an example. Many companies are laying off their employees because they aren’t getting paid and obviously they couldn’t pay their employees.
Now, this may be of various reasons. The company may refuse to reduce the charge that it had on its clients or they may not get new clients. That is how the current situation is going on.
But if you are a freelancer and especially an experienced one you will have at least 75% flexibility in changing the prices. Because if you are a freelancer you would obviously have multiple income streams. This will help you cope up your existing lifestyle by also reduce the profit margin.
Multiple income streams:
Like I said before if you are a freelancer you won’t be having a 9 to 5 routine so obviously you will have many things to test out and experiment. It can be starting a youtube channel or a podcast or consulting etc.
So this is something you can explore easily guys and I leave it to you to give me some ideas for it in the comment section.
Until next time this is Jeffrey Signing off.
