This blog contains a section of a podcast — Web3 Digital Marketing Entrepreneur and the opinion of the host is added after that.

Jeff: What do you think of the major industries that you guys are focusing on right now? I think right now you have a lot of major clients like some automotive companies that are also there on the page that I saw. But what is your major focus? The profitable areas that people can focus on.

Sean: In this industry, we do every type of niche. Now as I grow in my entrepreneurial journey, I’ve learned that you need to niche down and I think the niche in 2023 that we’re really going to focus on, that we have had a proven track record of success and profitability on is schools and universities.

So for instance, we’ve used so many different examples over the years, the Penn State University of Pittsburgh, YSU Youngstown State University, University of Penn, which we’re actually going to be shooting very soon, and so many different universities and colleges. Texas A and M, which we did a while back.

There are so many different colleges and universities that need these types of software and services, and it’s really inexpensive for us to produce them because they see value. So it’s very easy to charge five, six figures for something like this and make out with, you know like I said, 60, 70% margins on the entire project.

So colleges and universities are the types that I’d like to focus on in 2023, as we start to become more profitable and reinvest into the marketing so we can get more colleges and universities, I think that that’s going to be a big moneymaker for us. And to be honest, I love real estate.

I’m an investor. But it’s not that profitable of a business, especially to say you’re working with a realtor, you charge them $500, you pay a photographer, I don’t know, 250 to get out there, whether it’s like because, with them, they do a package deal. It’s not just a virtual tour, right?

So it’s Photos, video, it’s a whole bunch of other stuff. And you’re not able to be that profitable, whereas you’re getting after everything’s done, 50%, maybe even less margin-wise. Whereas, as I said, 60% to 70% for the colleges, and it’s so much more money, right? So it’s going to be a bigger opportunity for us moving forward.
